Whether it is a Civil Wedding, Reception or both, your special day can be celebrated in our beautiful ballroom.
Situated four miles from the historic town of Dorchester in Dorset, Charlton Down has the largest public room in the area. With 300 square meters of space in the ballroom there is ample room for your family and guests and room for dancing, making Herrison Hall Ballroom and it's side rooms the perfect location for your event. The photographs on the left show the room laid out for 150 guests, with bar and dancing. The band or discotheque can be on the stage which has stage lighting and an audio system. A P.A. System is available for speeches and announcements and both the Watts Room and Toad Hall can be used as extra space for the caterers, band or guests.
